"It was a wonderrful experience and you have to admire the engineering skills,Passenger opposite me affected by altitude en route- doctor on the train, oxygen available.Good food, pleasantly served. Clean toilets (both European and Chinese), but it does take 36 hours. We gopt on about 8.45am and arrived at Lhasa 8pm the following night."
