The Railway Station specificly arranged two waiting rooms for Qing-Tibet passengers.

At the two entrances to board the train, passengers are required to receive the inspection, anyone with dangerous articles will be forbidden to board the train.

For foreign passengers, they are kindly required to show their passport, original Tibet permit and train ticket simultaneously and to have the three documents scanned and kept in the archives.  

In order to alleviate the deficiency of oxygen in the compartments, Qing-Tibet trains are always equipped with two oxygen supply systems--one provides oxygen in the whole compartment while the other provides uptaking masks for passengers.
