Lhasa/ Draksum Tso/ Nyingchi/ Tsedang Circuit 9 day tour

Rout feature:
  This trip begins with the cultural touring of Lhasa that includes Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and other regular sites and then heads eastwards to Nyingchi- the farthest most destination of this trip. En route, you will visit the beautiful Draksum Tso Lake and spend a night in a guesthouse by the lakeside. On return, you will take the southern route via Kyimpong and Gyatsa Xian, following the banks of Yarlungdzangbo River all the way up to Tsedang-the gateway to the ancient Yarlung Kingdom.

The tour itinerary:
Day01 Chengdu/Beijing/Shanghai/Xian/Chongqin/Kunming flight to Lhasa
  Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa.
 
Day02 Lhasa sightseeing (B +L +D)
  Visit Potola Palace, Johkang temple, and Barkor Market. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day03  Lhasa sightseeing
  Visit Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, overnight at Lhasa.
 
Day04 Lhasa/ Draksum Tso (B +L +D)
  After breakfast, drive from Lhasa to Nyingchi. On the way you will cross over Mila Pass, enjoy the scenery along the Niyang River. Afternoon drive to visit Draksum Tso, also known as Basum-Tso. The lake and its surrounding views are beautiful and the site is also connected to the semi-mythical ruler of the Kham region and Guru Rinpoche. Take a ferry ride off the southern shore of the lake to visit the Tsodzong Monatery, most probably the highest attraction of this site. Overnight in Draksum Lake Tourism Holiday Village.
 
Day05 Draksum Tso/ Bayi (B +L +D)
  In the morning, take walk along the lake shore. In the late morning, retrace the way to the Highway that joins at Bahel and continue 30 miles further to Bayi, the major town of Nyinchi region, passing Shoka and Jara villages en route. Check in hotel . In the afternoon visit the nature reserve with 2500-year old cypresses. Overnight at Bayi town.

Day06 -Day07  Bayi / Nang county/ Tsedang (B)
  En route, visit an ancient Gelug Monastery-Buchu, that lies only 18 miles south of Bayi . If the heavy rain has not damaged the road, visit the Lamaling Monastery near Bayi. Return to the main highway and continue towards Tsedang, following the bank of Yarlung Tsangbo River, with one possible overnight in Nang county. In Tsedang, you will visit the ancient Yambulakhang Palace and Tradruk Temple.

Day08 Tsedang / Samye Monastery/ Tsedang (B +L +D)
  Today's visit is to Samya Monastery which is the first one built in the 7th century and has three building with different style (Tibetan Hans and India), Overnight at Tsedang ( Shannan Hotel or Shannan Longma Hotel).
 
Day09  Lhasa airport dropping off
   Morning Airport dropping off, end the trip.
