Dadu River is an important geographical and cultural boundary in Tibet---Qinghai Highland. Jiarong Tibet, which is an important branch of the Tibet people live here. Emei and Leshan. Upper reaches of Dadu River, the water runs fast and narrow, it has rafting value. You can enjoy the Jiarong Tibet special trip, Su Mountain is Mt. Emei in "Su mountain tale", and Emei person means the brow of the girls. You will appreciate the verve, sea of clouds, Buddha of Su Mountain; besides this rout you can go to the minority habitat, which has not opened up, it is important to consider there are so many dangerous beaches and places for you to conquer.

Schedule:

D1: arrive in Chengdu. Stay: Hotel (three star).

D2: Chengdu-Dujiangyan Irrigation System-Wenchuan-Li town-Miyaluo Red Leaf area-Moshuo-Maerkang (398KM).
Visit: leave from Chengdu, get through Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which has two thousand years history, Tibet and Qiang habitat, get to the Miyaluo sights area, which is famous for red leaf, Muosu ancient political church, which a few people know. To experience the "wealth", which the churchman leave in 19th century. Afternoon arrive at Maerkang, which is the most important place in east of Sichuan.

D3: Maerkang---Loose Hillock---White bay (32KM)
Visit: on the way to see Tibet and Qiang stone castles, drink local wine. Have a rest and prepare for rafting tomorrow. Stay: local house or camper.

D4: White bay---Zhou Mountain---Shaer---Jinchuan (64KM, rafting)
Visit: along upper reaches of Dadu River--- rafting from Dajinchuan, green mountain and limpid water around Tibet and
Qiang habitat, this river part is gentle.
Stay: camper in Dajinchuan.

D5: Jinchuan-Henxi-Dusong-Anling-Maerbang-Malai (46KM, rafting)
Visit: Those strange names are small villages; also express they have not opened up yet. You can raft in the boat, and you can stay on the bank. This river part is gentle.
Stay: camper in Dajinchuan.

D6: Malai-Badi-Bawang-Danba (45KM rafting)
Visit: after the Malai, all the place belongs to Tibet, it is Kangba Tibet habitat. Kangba is famous for its stone castles; Kangba stone castle is most majestuose and spectacular than Qiang stone castles, village stone castles is different from cities. On this part, the river runs fast. Stay: camper in Dajinchuan.

D7: Danba---Shuopo--- Gezhong---Kongyu (40KM, rafting)
Visit: leave from Danba, we really enter the Dadu River, at this time, you can experience stimulating rafting. Stay: camper in Dajinchuan.

D8: Kongyu---Selian---Pengba---ludin (65KM, rafting)
Visit: out of Kongyu, after Dadu River, pass Pengba. Arrive at Ludin town. Look around ludin, cross bridge by foot. Also rafting under the bridge. On this part, the river runs fast.
Stay: Lundin Hotel or Hot Spring Hotel.

D9: Lundin---Lingqi town---Detuo---Wajiao Yi and Tibet town (60KM, rafting)
Experience: from Ludin to Dadu River, the dangerous rapids are present. This part is the most dangerous part; the river will change narrow and run fast. Please enjoy it!
Arrive at Wajiao Yi and Tibet town, which is a really Yi and Tibet habitat. You will see the two different clans customs. This river part has so many dangerous places and runs faster.

D10: Wajiao Yi and Tibet town---Xinmin Yi and Tibet town---van Tibet town---Stone cotton (49KM, rafting) Visit: minority habitats Stay: hotel.

D11: Stone cotton---Hanyuan---Jinkou River---Mt. Emei (car)
Visit: Mt. Emei
Stay: Emei Hotel (three star) or same class

D12: Mt. Emei
Visit: go to the top of the Mt. Emei, and see Sea of Clouds Sea, if you are lucky, you can see the Buddha lights.
Stay: Emei Hotel (three star) or same class

D13: Mt. Emei---Leshan (18KM)
Visit: "Buddha city" Leshan.
Stay: Buddha city Hotel (three star) or same class

D14: Leshan---Chengdu (166KM)
Visit: the places on the way. The trip is over.
