Meili Snow Mountain pedestrians and explore trip
Meili Snow Mountain is located northeast of Deqin town, 10 kilometers away. There are 13 mountains, with an average 6000 meters above sea level. The highest mountain is Kawagebo peak, which is 6740 meters high in Yunnan province. Kawagebo in Tibet means " God of Snow Mountain" and it is towards the Tibetan Holy Land. All the people died in an accident, including 6 Chinese and 11 Japanese; it is the most disastrous casualty record in Chinese mountaineering history.
