Dulongjiang Gorge is located at west-north corner of Yunan province, close to Tibet municipality to the north, close to Burma on the west and south. It is famous for its Dulong clan, also known as " Taigu people" who have lived here for a long time, and another reason is its' has very particular landform, physionomy and its distance far from city. Also it called "mysterious gorge". Across the Dulongjiang whole area, it is original from Tibet Cayu town, in the east there is Gaoligong Mountain, which is 5000 meter above sea level, in west there is Dandanglika Mountain, which is 4000 meter above sea level, close Burma. Dulongjiang flows from the upper reaches of Kelaoluo River and Mabiluo River together, after that it flows from Dibuli to Gongshan town, when it gets to Maoding it returns to double flow to the west, get through Maku to Burma and again get together to make the Enmeikai River. It has 90 more KM in China; the drainage area is 1947 square KM. The flow of Dulongjiang River is big; it has more that 100-branch river, because it is affected by Indian Ocean southwest monsoon, the rainfall in one year is above 3200millimeter, it is the best of all in Yunan province. There are have so many plants and animal in the river valley. They are all being protected. The Dulong clan was lived here since their arrive. Until 50 years ago, they were still in the end of their original society. The Dulongjiang River is far from us, so in there you can have different feeling about their origin and rough life system, the strange customs and mysterious gorges will let you to have one really adventurous exploration trip.
