The road from Sichuan to Tibet is the earliest road to Tibet as well as the most dangerous road among all the road to Tibet . All the road , we will climb numerous snow mountains , cross the surging Jinsha River . But the harder the travel will be , the more fine scenes will be paid as the prize to the travelers .In this tour , we will start from Chengdu , the capital of Sichuan province, cross the territory of Kam in east Tibet , after ten days' hard driving , reach the city of sunlight . And then, we will keep going from Lhasa to the back Tibet-Shigatse, along the china-Nepal road. This trip will be one unique chance to get through the Qinghai-Tibet plateau.

Itinerary
D1 arrive in chengdu
In the morning fly to Chengdu by SZ 434(0740-1205) .After a warm pick-up , we will take the travelers to the city . In the afternoon we will visit Wuhousi Temple , which is well know for Mr Zhugeliang ,who was the symbol of Chinese wisdom . And then we will visit Dufu Thatched Cottage . The Saint Poet Dufu had set his home here . In the evening we will enjoy the Sichuan opera , there we will see how the actor changing his masks with just a quick turn . . Night in hotel .
D2 Chengdu / Kangding (Dartse)
Depart from Chengdu ,we will drive 150km in express way then we will drive in the green valley along the Qingyijiang river. Of course, the best always the hardest, we have to get over the first natural barriers-Erlang mountain, for the high altitude and bad road conditions, this mountain was called the first barriers between Sichuan and Tibet in the past. But now, with the opening of Erlangshan tunnel the natural barriers become the smooth way. When we get through the Erlang mountain and pass by Luding . In the afternoon we will arrive the world wide famous ancient city-Kangding and enjoy the hot spring there. And as far as we know, Kangding city is a very famous city all over the world. It used to be the most important market of Tea-horse trade in the past .The nomadic Tibetan come here to exchanges their animals or animal products with Chinese Han people . And the Erdaoqiao hot spring will rush away all the dust of our travel .Night in hotel .
D3 Kangding /yajiang
When we get over the 4600meters high Zheduo mountains. We start to enter into the Qinghai-Tibet plateau. The flush sheep and cattle under the bright sunshine come into our eyesight. Along the way we can enjoy the Tibet style castles. And the most famous one is the 60 meters high castle which is near the Yajiang county. Night in hotel .
D4 Yajiang/Litang
After we get over the 4000 meters high Shear--like mountains, we will get into Litang. Litang gained reputation of the highest city in all over the world for its sea level of 4200meter .And we will visit the huge monastery ---Changqingcunke'er monastery, which is the grandest in Gelu school of Tibet Buddhism in Kam area . You can review the brilliant culture and history of Tibet.Night in hotel .
D5 Litang/ Markham
Depart from Litang we will get into the Haizi mountains. It was called as Haizi mountain but the road condition from east to the west is good. And you will get up to the summit without conscious of. And then we will go down to the Batang which is located in the bank of Jinshajiang river. Here produce many good fruit and they enjoined very high honor in east Tibet. It was said that the apple had been planted by a foreign preacher firstly . And the Christian churches here are still well protected now. When we get over the Jinshajiang river, we will be in Tibetan Autonomous Administration District, and the Markham county is the first county we meet since we enter in Tibet.
D6 Markham /Paksho
From Markham to Paksho, we have to get over the Lancangjiang river first. And then the Dongda mountains (6000meters), via Zuogong to Bangda, we will pass the high land grassland which is located in more than 4000 meters above sea level. Farewell to the grassland, via the famous ninety-nine bending and down to the Nujiang river, this day's trip will be full of challenge. We have to be accustomed to the temperature up and down and the altitude changes at the same time.
D7 Paksho/Pome
We will pass Ranwugou ditch., which is an enormous ice glacier . The car have to get through from the glaciers very carefully , it will give us the most exciting impetus but without and danger. The Ranwu lake is the famous high land glacier lake, there are dense forest near the bank accompanied with the clean and clear water in the lake. The shadow of the forest in the lake, the birds play and fly freely near the water. What a fairy land displayed in front of us. The Pome county which located in the dense forest, will take our great attentionThe famous Himalaya mountain is located near this county, so we can easily see the snow mountains around the county. The most famous two are Nanjiabawa summit and Jialabei summit.
D8 Pome/Bayi
We will drive in the dense forest, and then we will get over one mountains which clad with snow and ice, we arrive another destination. Here lives the primeval Menba and Luoba nationality. Their way of living are much similar with the Tibetans, but they still keep their primitive way of life and the dwellings. Linzhi is the most attractive place in Tibet.
D9 Bayi/Lhasa
Depart from Bayi, via the Mila mountains to valley of Lhasa, the grand Potala palace present in the front of you, and you understand that you have entry into the sacred place, Lhasa.
D10-D11 Lhasa sightseeing
In these two days we will be amazed by the abundant cultural relics in the Potala Palace , Jokhang Temple , Barkor street , ect .And we will also appreciate the true Tibetan style food and dancing show in the evening . Night in hotel .
D12 Lhasa /Gyantse
Depart from Lhasa, we will have a bird's eye view of Yamdrok yamtso lake in the Gangbala Mountain .And the contemporary glaciers Kala along the Chinese -Nepal road. In the afternoon , we will drop a visit to the Palcho Temple in Gyantse city . Night in Shigatse .
D13 Gyantse/ Shigatse
In the morning we will bid our visit in grand Zhasilunpo monastery .
D14 Shigatse/Lhasa
we will return Lhasa in the morning and have free time in Lhasa . Night in hotel .
D15 Lhasa/Chengdu
Fly to Chengdu in the morning , and do some city tour in Chengdu .Night in hotel .
D16 Departure from Chengdu
In the morning we will visit the beautiful garden---Tufu Thatched Cottage , which is for memory the great ancient Chinese poets Mr Tufu .It is also a pretty southern Chinese style garden , showing the beauty of exquisite .And we will also go to the embroidery factory to see the magnificent Sichuan Silk . And in the afternoon we will do some shopping the Erxianqiao Bazaar . Fly back to Singapore by SZ433 ( 1615-2040) And the travel finished with good memory .
