Dufu (712-770AD.) was a famous Tang poet who lived in Chengdu for a brief period of time. During his stay, he wrote over 200 poems. the original residence of Dufu already disappeared. Dont expect to see anything in the cottage that belonged to Dufu. What we see today is the reconstruction of the Ming and Qing dynasties. the cottage is located in the western suburb of Chengdu.
